This week I am on to more of the Christmas at Castle Keyvnor books! I’m reading Tempted at Christmas and I have already finished one of the stories and loved it. I will have the review up on Wednesday.

I don’t know what I will have for Friday yet, but it will be a review. You will have to come back and see if it’s another Christmas at Castle Keyvnor book or something else.

Here’s a summary of what you’ll find inside:

An Improper Christmas by Amy Rose Bennett

When Miss Lily Godwin has a chance encounter with the mischievous Lord Nash at a Yuletide house party, she is sorely tempted to throw all dictates of decorum out the window. After all, it’s Christmas.

The Duke and I by Heather Boyd

The Duke of Stapleton abhors Christmas nonsense, but could a kiss exchanged under mistletoe with his daughter’s shy companion alter his opinion of the season?

Secluded with My Hellion by Dawn Brower

In the midst of the blizzard, Gavin Barrington, the Earl of Havenwood, and Lady Odessa Lynwood must overcome the earl’s worst fears and figure out if their love can conquer the challenges they must face.

Her Perfect Rogue by Amanda Mariel

The Twelve Nights of Christmas by Nina Mason

Rollo Gillingham has only twelve nights to win back Penelope Pembroke, the woman he left with his promise to return ten years before. Come Christmas Day, which will she choose–the man she loves or the man her parents want her to marry?

Bedded Under a Christmastide Moon by Christina McKnight

Brigham Clarke, Viscount Whitmore, has endlessly championed those less fortunate than himself by introducing social reform bills in London…all while his wife, Melloria, remains alone in Hertfordshire. When Brigham arrives for the Christmastide holiday, Melloria has only one thing on her mind–the seduction of her husband!

The Rogue’s Seduction by Lauren Smith

London’s favorite lady seeks the help and protection of London’s most wicked devil to escape one marriage, only to fall into another.

stencil.blog-post-feature (2)

This week I have another ARC to read Third Son’s a Charm by Shana Galen. I will be starting it tonight so look out for the review on Wednesday! Then I am Reading Rescued By the Captain by Laura A. Barnes. She is a new to me author and this is her first book so I can’t wait. I have many favorite author books coming in the coming weeks!

In non-book related news, my birthday is Friday!

What I’m Reading This Week: Emma Locke and Diana Gabaldon Plus a Writing Update

stencil.blog-post-feature (2)

This week I am jumping back into the Outlander world by getting back to reading The Fiery Cross. I took a break from it months ago because it is very slow in the beginning and I was frustrated with it so I stepped back from it for awhile. I’m also going to be reading The Art of Ruining a Rake by Emma Locke. I have been loving her Naughty Girls series and can’t wait to see what happens in this one.

I’m also going to be reading The Art of Ruining a Rake by Emma Locke. I have been loving her Naughty Girls series and can’t wait to see what happens in this one. If you’ve been following me for awhile then you know I love series that are not the typical ballroom setting and very innocent heroines. I love this series because it’s different.

Writing Update

Now a writing update! I got some time last week to write again and the words were flowing. My hero and heroine made a decision I did not see coming and I wondered if it would work, but after lots of thinking, I decided it worked perfectly for the story. Still no clue how long it will be, but I’m excited to see what happens with it.

What I’m Reading This Week: Christy Carlyle and Vanessa Kelly

I hope everyone had a great Father’s day! Ours was a quiet one with just my dad’s picking what he wanted us to make for supper (fish), a card, and gift. I didn’t get a chance to read all weekend but have some book to read this week.

Wednesday I will have a review of Christy Carlyle’s A Study in Scoundrels. I can’t wait to read this one. Friday will be an ARC review of Three Weeks with a Princess by Vanessa Kelly! I loved the first one in this series.

Tomorrow is release day for The Pleasures of Passion (Sinful Suitors #4) by Sabrina Jeffries and you can read my review by clicking that link.

What I’m Reading This Week

Wow, I don’t remember the last time I did one of these posts! I have been so busy with reviews that my regular schedule has been forgotten again, but that can be a good thing. Anyway, I have two new to me authors that I’m reading this week and have already started reading one.

First up is the one I started last it is The Merchant’s Pearl by Amie O’Brien. This one has a very different setting and a different POV than most. I am enjoying it so far and it will be Wednesday’s review.

The next one is The Firstborn by Quenby Olson for a Random Friday Review. I haven’t started it yet because I don’t like to read multiple books at once.

I’ve got a packed review schedule until the end of the month, but next Friday Jude Knight will be featured on Sassy Book Lover and I can’t wait.

Blurb

Inspired by the tale of Sleeping Beauty–an erotically charged historical romance novella from the acclaimed Fiery Tales series. One sleeping rake, one scorching kiss, one night of unforgettable passion…

Five years ago, the notorious rake, Adrien d’Aspe, Marquis de Beaulain, was awakened by a sensuous kiss–and experienced a night of raw ecstasy that was branded into his memory.

Years later, he spots his mysterious seductress–and this time, he has no intention of letting her go…

**NOTE: Originally published in the AWAKENED BY A KISS anthology.

My Review

*I received a copy of Historical Hellions which includes this book from one of the authors in exchange for my honest review

Normally I don’t like ones at this spice level, but I loved this one. I loved that it was set in France, that there was a small mystery surrounding that night, and a twist at the end I did expect. There is a lot of steam in this one, but enough of a story to balance it out for me.

Catherine had her reasons for what she did five years ago and the memory of that night has stayed with her. Once she told her whole story everything made sense and I loved her.

Adrien is not shy at all about the life he lives, but he is still loveable. There is something about how he wanted answers about that night that makes you love him because it wasn’t for bad reasons.

What I’m Reading This Week: Wild Horses by Lily Graison

stencil-blog-post-feature-2

I am so EXCITED! Lily Graison’s Wild Horses releases this month and I was lucky enough to get receive an ARC. I have been waiting for this book and can’t wait to dive in and enjoy the story. It will be Wednesday’s review!

Also, make sure to be here Thursday for my stop on the tour of Darcy Burke’s The Duke of Desire!

What I’m Reading This Week: The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin

stencil-blog-post-feature-2

If you follow me on Instagram then you have seen what I’m reading this week. I am reading The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin! I am obsessed with the TV series Victorica which is based on her book Victoria and she also created the show. So when a friend said she had two of her books and sent them home with me after a girls night I quickly checked my blog schedule so I could start reading as soon as I had nothing else on my calendar.Capture

Somethings kept me from diving in a few days ago. but I will be tonight and will be reviewing it for Book Review Wednesday!

I also had to take this pretty picture of the book.
