KISSED AT CHRISTMAS

includes:

Christina McKnight’s Bound By the Christmastide Moon

Silas Anson has spent his life dealing with other people’s mistakes. Now, as the Earl of Lichfield, he has a plan that will protect his siblings, and give him a chance at a normal life. His arranged marriage to Mallory Hughes should be perfect—except for one thing: she sees visions of the future. When a man determined to free himself from the shackles of the past marries a woman with precognition, happiness in the present may be just a kiss under the Christmastide moon away.

Ava Stone’s Once Upon a Midnight Clear

Only a duke will do for Lady Ivy Dallimore. If her unhappily married sisters have taught her anything, it’s that love is fleeting but a title lasts forever, which is all well and good in theory until she finds herself falling for the scandalous third son of a marquess who is bound and determined to make his fortune in trade! Lord Michael Beck courts scandal, living life to the fullest and dabbling in games of chance. Unfortunately, he’s neither heir nor spare to his father’s title, and the time has come to enter a profession. Michael is no soldier, and he certainly isn’t cut out for the cloth, so he embarks on the most scandalous and risky venture of his life. He will need capital, however, and collecting a number of outstanding gambling debts at a Christmas Eve wedding at Castle Keyvnor seems like the perfect place to start, at least until he stumbles across the lady of his dreams. But what are the odds the practiced gambler can win the girl without losing everything he’s worked for?

Michelle Willingham’s The Sweetest Christmas

Lady Marjorie despises the idea of marriage. After being engaged to a man who tried to command every aspect of her life, from what she wore to what she ate, she refuses to consider matrimony again. Though she isn’t at all opposed to playing matchmaker for her cousin… Sir William Crandall is startled when Lady Marjorie believes he is a shy, withdrawn knight in need of a wife. He has nothing at all in common with her bluestocking cousin, but he is fascinated by the spirited Lady Marjorie. Despite her attempts at matchmaking, he intends to avoid marriage at all costs, after being abandoned at the altar. But a stolen kiss, a feast of gingerbread, and two unexpected friends find that there is magic in the Christmas holiday and a match that neither of them expected…

Bound By the Christmastide Moon by Christina McKnight

The Christmastide moon is magical. I was hooked from the start, but as soon as she had a vision I couldn’t put it down. I loved how things played out to bring them together and the twists with his family and the vision were totally unexpected. There are a couple of characters that I really hope to see again. I also wondered about his parents.

Mallory is not a shy little girl like you think at first. I loved her as soon as she followed him and showed that she wasn’t shy at all. She knew her vision would come true and was going to do something.

Silas has always taken care of his siblings and will do anything to protect them. I loved that he didn’t jump to judge and was very open to everything. I loved how he was with his brother too.

Ava does it again with the ghosts in the castle and causing me to jump. I was hooked from the start with how different they are from each other. I loved the back and forth between them and how everyone saw what was between them. I did not see the twist coming with the governess at all and thought it was the ghosts. The ending was perfect and I loved seeing Oscar the poodle again.

Ivy does come off as very spoiled and stuck up, but she really is afraid of her heart. I loved her once she started to let her guard down and when others said the same things about her sisters it explained her more. She is a favorite of mine.

Michael is determined to make a name for himself and get the girl he wants. I loved him right away because he didn’t want to live off of his father and that he didn’t hide his feelings about her. He knew how to charm everyone.

This one will definitely spook you! I loved it from the start because the ghosts were up to their tricks again. From their first meeting, I knew it was going to be fun since he was not shy at all. I loved that because of their pasts they had no plans to marry but were drawn together. I loved seeing my favorite ghost Benedict again! There is a new ghost in this one that is terrifying and the pirate one again that I hope to find out more about. I loved her mother when she told her husband what she thought.

Marjorie does not hold back at all when it comes to something she sets her mind on. I loved her right away because she wasn’t going to let someone control her. She wasn’t really afraid of the ghosts and I loved her at the card game.

William wanted to prove he had moved on. He learned quickly to believe in the ghosts and that he had truly loved on. I loved him right away because he did seem shy at first and then when he talked to his ex I loved it.

Greetings,
In regards to the Matter of the un-entailed Estate of the late-Jonathan Hambly, 10th Earl of Banfield, be advised that your attendance is urgently required at the reading of his lordship’s Last Will & Testament, to take place on November 1st of this year at Castle Keyvnor in Bocka Morrow, Cornwall.
Regards,
Mr. Timothy Hunt, Esq.

When the late-Earl of Banfield’s distant relations descend upon Bocka Morrow, they’ll find gypsies, witches, pixies, smugglers, and one very haunted castle. And if they’re lucky, they might just fall in love while they’re there.

BEDEVILED, The Haunting of Castle Keyvnor includes:

Kate Pearce’s A Ghost of a Chance
Violet DeLisle is secretly delighted to have the opportunity to meet up with some of the more obscure branches of her family tree. She’s been in love with her stepmother’s second cousin, Charlie, since she was a child. But her beautiful half-sister has clearly set her sights on Charlie and he is obviously dazzled. Forced to hide from the lovebirds, she huddles under the stairs and meets a kindred spirit who not only turns out to be a rather feisty ghost, but a master of courtship.

Deb Marlowe’s Lady Tamsyn and the Pixie’s Curse
Her father inherited an earldom and a castle. Has Lady Tamsyn inherited a curse? It’s what it feels like when she discovers that she can see the truth behind the lies that men tell. All she wanted on arrival at Keyvnor was to avoid Mr. Gryffyn Cardew, but in a sea of lies, he is the one who always tells her the truth. Together they find that her curse might just be a gift—and their love the key to preventing a tragedy.

Michelle Willingham’s A Dance With the Devil
Devon Lancaster is fascinated by the beautiful vicar’s daughter, Jane Hawkins, who has been summoned to the will reading of the late Lord Banfield. But is she truly only a vicar’s daughter? Or does her past hold secrets that put her very life in danger? Jane knows she is unlikely to find a husband among the handsome men at Castle Keyvnor because of her poverty. But when she is locked in the cellar with Devon, she finds that the Devil of Lancaster sets her blood on fire.

A Dance With the Devil by Michelle Willingham

This story will suck you in from the start as soon as the ghosts start their magic. I loved that there is more about the castle and a mystery to solve that I couldn’t figure out until it was revealed. There is a ghost that will make you laugh with everything he does to help along the way. There are many secrets surrounding Jane and the castle and they can shock you. The library scene was my favorite and I could picture it perfectly.

Jane is a very sweet girl that fears what happened to her mother will happen to her. I loved that she didn’t believe in ghosts, but also didn’t ignore them when they did something. She never thought her life would be turned upside down when she joined her friends family at the castle.

Devon was a very open man. He felt the ghosts and listened to them. I loved his nickname even though it didn’t seem to match him most of the time. He thought about others first and realized that sometimes he needed to listen to his heart instead of his mind. I also liked that he didn’t blink at Jane’s past.

I was glad to see that the new earl was a good guy and treated Jane like one of his daughters even if he didn’t always show it.

Lady Tamsyn and the Pixie’s Curse by Deb Marlowe

You know it will be a great story when pixies are involved. This one was really magical and captivating from the start. I loved that the pixies were actually involved in everything and little Paul was able to do something for his mama. The backstory was great and made perfect sense to everything. I loved everything about it from beginning to end and was on the edge of my seat towards the end afraid of what might happen. Her gift of seeing the truth was perfect.

Tamsyn was great from the start. She may have held a grudge because of what happened in the past, but she wasn’t going to be rude and wanted to clear the air right away. I loved that she didn’t run from her gift and realized it would come in handy.

Gryff was quick to judge, but he was just as quick to see he was wrong. I loved that he didn’t blink an eye at her gift because of his family and that he believed in everything. He never lied and had nothing to hide like he was an open book.

I got chills when it came to the darkness she saw with the one man and wanted to know what it was and why it was there. I liked getting to know her family a bit more and his family said great.

A Ghost of a Chance by Kate Pearce

My Rating: ❤❤❤1/2

Spice Level: 💋💋

I loved seeing Benedict again and how he helped along the way in his odd, but fun way. It was a good story and liked it, but it just wasn’t my style. I liked that they had known each other for years and the way they were so straight forward with talking to each other. I did like the rescues and how there were two love stories going on and they were meant to be.

Violet was blinded by a love she has had for years and doesn’t see Charlie’s childish personality and that he see’s her as a sister. That love made her blind to what was right in front of her and she almost missed it forever. She put her everyone else’s happiness first.

Edwin seemed very uptight because of his responsibility to his family and his brother. He was always protecting his brother but realized he had to stop and let him prove himself. He didn’t always know how to show his emotions and it clear what he thought.

They were a unique couple and meant for each other. They needed each other to come out of the shadows of their siblings.
